Libya Moves to Improve Healthcare for People with Disabilities

Minister of Social Affairs, Wafaa Al-Kilani, has held talks with officials from the General Health Insurance Fund to discuss improving healthcare services for people with disabilities as part of wider efforts to strengthen the country’s social protection system.

The meeting focused on the fund’s operational readiness, regulatory framework, and the formation of a joint working team to develop an implementation plan and timeline aimed at accelerating reforms and enhancing the quality and accessibility of healthcare services.
